Here is the new concept, the 2016 Lexus LF-C2. The company’s luxury division has been very busy and productive last year, so at the LA Auto Show the company presented one of its best-looking concepts.
There is no doubt that this concept looks stunning, both from inside and outside. With its striking exterior design and very shiny paint, along with a clean and modern interior, this concept car is very seductive. Unfortunately, it is still just a concept, but it would be really nice to meet this car at the road.
The 2016 Lexus LF-C2 is very similar to the current RC coupe, but the differences are seen everywhere. The nose is drastically cut and twisted backwards right on the grille, and the grille also has a different mesh, while headlights have been recycled from RC coupe. This concept car has a very striking exterior look.
The concept car presented in LA show came painted in yellow and it had white leather interior, looking very impressive.
Lexus LF-C2 2016 Interior
This Lexus concept comes with a very luxurious and refined interior, but for some reason there is lack of Lexus’ touches. The cabin is mixed with grey and white color. It features middle tunnel with yellow accents, shifter and touchpad controller for one of available screens. One display is positioned behind the shift lever and another one atop the dashboard. Between these two screens there is an analogue clock. The Lexus LF-C2 is 2+2 coupe, and unlike the others, this one provides enough room for two adults in the rear seats, but comfort is not guaranteed. As far as special features or safety options go, so far the concept didn’t bother with that.
2016 Lexus LF-C2 Horsepower, Engine and Performance
It is still unknown, of course, what will be under the hood of the 2016 Lexus LF-C2 Concept. However, it can be assumed that the new RC coupe will carry over its current range of engines and they would fit in nicely under LF-C2’s hood. The base one, a 3.5-liter V-6 with 306 hp, or a stronger one – a 5.0-liter V-8 with 467 hp from RC F model, both seem like a good choice.
Performance wise, this concept car should be able to hit max speed around 155 mph and it should achieve from 0 to 60 mph in less than 5.5 seconds.
As for the fuel efficiency, well the basic models are rated at 19 mpg in the city and 28 mpg/highway, while the RC F version is rated at 16 mpg in the city and 25 mpg/highway. If this company wants to elevate these figures, Lexus LF-C2 will have to change powertrains.

Release Date and Price
Since this is a concept car the exact price is not available yet, but keep in mind that the RC F costs at least 62.500 dollars, while base RC starts from 43.000 dollars. The main competitors to this concept car could be the BMW i8 and the Acura NSX. This concept looks really good with its modern and luxurious interior, along with a striking exterior and its shiny paint.
